Kaunitz Palace

Kaunitz palace is situated right in the centre of Prague near Wenceslas square, on Panska street. It was created by the reconstruction of a bunch of small houses in the 18th century in Baroque style. In the year 1861 it was bought by the Duke Kaunitz. This family was prominent in political and economical fields, and they were also known for their great interest in culture and art. As a result this palace is now home to Alfons Mucha Museum. The wedding ceremony here can be organised in one of the salons decorated with Romaticism paintings and Rococo furniture.
