The general list of documents required to get married in Czech Republic is the same for citizens of all countries:

-        passport

-        birth certificate

-        divorce certificate/death certificate of a spouse (if you are divorced or widowed)

-        cetificate of marital status

Depending on the country of your citizenship, Czech Republic may require your documents to be legalised with an Apostille. You don't need it if you come from: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Yemen, Korea, Cuba, Cyprus, Hungary, Mongolia, Poland, Austria, Romania, Russia, Belarus, Greece, Slovakia, Syria, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.

Certificate of marital status (certificate of no impediments to marriage) is issued either by your local registry office or by your Embassy in Czech Republic – depending on the country.

The next document needed from all couples is a filled-in application form.

The application form and the above-mentioned documents (scanned) have to be sent to us minimum 1 month before the wedding. In case you are getting married in Prague 1, you have to send them 2 weeks after the booking of the date.

Please also mind that we will require a prepayment together with the documents to allow us process them. All of the prices can be found in our price-list.
